My KB home was built in 2006 and within 2 years my a/c coil had to be replaced. After investigating the Chinese drywall issue with KB Homes I found I have National Gypsum recycled drywall. I haven’t noticed any other sympoms as described here but I just started investigating today. I’ll report back if I find anything else.

I am remodeling a townhouse and was about to install gold bond sound board on the two walls abuting my neighbors. I need to know if this problem has been adressed and if so what was the resolution.

built the house in 2007 due to the loss of our other house in hurrican Katrina. We have National gridx in our house and my eyes hurt daily, we have replaced 3 coils in brand new air units. We have corrision on our shower head. I am worried because I have a 19month old child and dont know if the house is safe. We have put everything we have into rebuilding this home after the hurrican. I would hate to think we need to start all over again???? Should I get the air tested? There are a lot of scams out there right now.

I am having my house tested in coming weeks.If you would like to know my experience with national Gypsum please let me know.More than likely all of my sheetrock will be ripped out at my cost.

We also have a problem with the Gold Bond drywall. Our house is three years old and we are on our third evaperator. Also are haveing a problem with gound wires turning black. Is anyone else haveing this problem with Gold Bond? Has anyone been able to get anything resolved? I will trade e-mails and information with anyone having this problem.
