Good Drywall for Christmas December 16, 2009

What do you want this year for Christmas? Believe it or not, thousands of people all over the country want nothing more than high quality drywall in their home. These are the homeowners who are dealing with Chinese drywall and all the negative effects it has brought to their life.

The Sun Sentinel recently ran a story on this topic: Quality drywall the best holiday gift for some this year. The piece touches on many residents in the area who are dealing with Chinese drywall related problems this season. While many may never get what they want, Joe Araneo did. His builder, GL Homes, agreed to replace the tainted Chinese drywall in his $1.3 million home free of cost. Wouldn’t it be nice if every other builder would do the same this holiday season?

GL Homes has gone above and beyond in helping those who are dealing with Chinese drywall in homes they built. The company starts be removing and replacing all of the tainted material. From there, they fix the insulation, wiring, and copper plumbing. If this is not enough, GL also pays for rental housing, storage, and other related moving expenses.

It is sad to think that so many people would do anything for quality drywall in their home. Hopefully many of them will get what they want this holiday season.
