Hamptons Road’s Residents Travel to D.C. Over Chinese Drywall May 21, 2009
Some residents of Hampton Roads headed off to Washington D.C. to meet with Virginia Senators about the growing Chinese drywall problems.
Several Senators are outraged, “We’ve got a problem here and we’ve gotta get to the bottom of it.”
Senator Mark Warner of Virginia says, “I fear that we may just be at the tip of the iceberg on what could be a natural and national disaster,”
Toxicologist, Lori Saltzman, with the CPSC testified that investigators did experience some of the symptoms while being in the homes associated with complaints.
